During the progressive movement of 1960’s, the major focus of Indian society was to grow together as a whole nation and more so to get its young women empowered in education & in career. The visionary philanthropists of Punjab felt the need to work on the issue seriously. On July 1968, the historic Khalsa College for Women was founded.
