The Khalsa College Governing Council, Amritsar through Khalsa College Charitable Society was established in 1890 to promote Education. It is today running 13 Colleges, most of these are Professional Institutions and 5 Schools in the region of Punjab (India).
It claims pre-eminence not only for its glorious past, but also because of its visionary outlook towards the future.
