FLORA OF KHALSA COLLEGE FOR WOMEN AMRITSAR
Department of Botany has created an e-Database for trees, shrubs, and flowering plants of the campus. The initiative is undertaken with the aim to provide easy access and retrieval of plant information such as scientific name , systematic position Family name, Flowering time, Fruiting time, Distribution, Economic importance, Medicinal values, Morphological description and photographs of different views/parts of each plant through Quick Response (QR) codes. This digital technology will help anyone who want to acquire knowledge of any plant by just scanning the QR Codes by a smart phone.
